An Aristo-Craft Creation from Aesthetic Specialties Inc. & Charles A. Wittwer - A
unique & very impressive display.
This phenomenal decanter is heavy and well built. The years it was displayed in a smoke/fragrance free home have been very kind to this car. The cork on the trunk is in great condition. The undercarriage is metal and without flaws and the porcelain is perfect. It rolls smoothly on the tires.
The plastic items are in great condition. There is some wear on the rubber seats, see photos.
The hood ornament is broken, but the extra hood ornament that was originally provided is included.
I am also including the custom designed display platform that was purchased from Proto Plastics Inc.
The decanter is empty.
Model is
17" long,
6" wide, 6
" tall.
Issued in 1980, this vintage Limited Edition 1937 Packard Classic Car is fully intact.
This 1937 Black Packard Twelve Car Decanter has rubber wheels that actually move. An extra original swan hood decoration ornament is included in plastic bag.
Of particular note, the 1937 Packard 12 Cylinder Convertible Coupe had a factory sticker price of ,650 when it came off the production line; so that's a little over ,600 in 2020 dollars…!
The 1937 model year brought hydraulic brakes for the 15th Series Twelve. Suicide doors were changed to conventional front-hinged doors. With 1300 built, 1937 was the Twelve's most successful year.
