    Description

    Offered today is a very nice old GORDON’S DRY GIN bottle from around 1917. Gordon & Co’s by Graduate of New York, New York, U.S.A.  All text on the bottle is raised letter. Clear bottle, no color. 8-9 inches tall, 3-1/2 inches wide and 3 inches thick. This little jewel has the correct, original labels on the front and back and an original State Of Wisconsin Tax Stamp dated October 3, 1917 on the side. There are some light scuff marks on the label. The labels and the tax stamp are a bit age darkened. The front label is torn in a few places. The rear label is faded and partially missing, worn off. It has the original glass stopper with the cork seal still in the mouth of the bottle. The glass stopper does have a couple of small chips.  Also, the seal across the mouth of the bottle has been removed.  A nice addition to your collection.
