    Description

    Offering an early piece of American Flint glass by Boston Sandwich Glass, Sandwich, Massachusetts. This decanter (stopper not included) is referred to as the "Shell & Rib" pattern and was produced from 1825 to 1840. Type G V-8 per
    American Glass
    by McKearin. The bottle is beautiful and clear with a pontil scar on the base which includes flaked areas. Three part mold with high relief. There is a waviness to the glass and a few small bubbles. Measures approximately 9" tall. Please see photographs as they are part of the description.
