Vintage 30s: the king of classic tone
ENGL's E212VHB cab is loaded with a pair of fiery Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, pumping out everything from crystalline cleans to scorching gain at high levels without distorting. Ideal for practically every genre and playing style imaginable, these speakers yield punchy lows, thick and prominent mids, and a creamy, harmonically rich high end. However, their superior construction isn't the result of an accident. By leveraging Laser Doppler Interferometry, Celestion analyzed the cone behavior of an original Blue speaker. This process allowed them to form a precise model of the vintage speaker's characteristics and apply it to the design of a new speaker using modern materials for greater power handling. And thus, the Vintage 30 was born!
