I have personally used one of these on longer, stronger lines to get pulled on Snowfeet mini-skis in 25mph wind that was gusting to 35mph. I've got over 100 kites and this was the one that I chose for those conditions, and it was fabulous.
I've given these as gifts to 3 of my grandnieces. The 14 year old girl can fly it now. The 10 and 11 year olds will be able to fly them in perfect conditions, but will likely have to grow into them more for non-perfect conditions. For that they all also have Big Buzz kites.
One of my high school divers has also gotten one. She's barely 5 foot tall and weighs not much more than 100 lbs. She's a champ with this thing in most wind conditions.
This is a very well made kite that'll probably last you for the rest of your life. It comes with 18M lines and aluminum handles.
