This Sting is a 3.3 square meter 4-line kite. The ideal kite for those who just want to get out and have fun. It is also the perfect kite for beginners because it is easy to control, particularly as the rear two lines act as brakes. It is also a very safe kite. Perfect for all aged 16 and upwards – although we highly recommend adult supervision of youngsters just in case a strong gust comes through.
The Stings are not just toys, they are fantastic workhorses for shifty, gusty winds. Due to their thick wing profile, they hold air really well and resist collapsing compared to other kites such as Hornets, Beamers, and even Rages in turbulent conditions.
It is recommended that you upgrade the lines if you use these to be moved. The current lines are fine for static flying in any wind that you'd care to fly it in.
Mine is currently on the 25M flexifoil lines, but I think I'm going to switch those with shorter lines now that the city has fenced in my school field flying area.
Sleds, Skis, Snowboards, Snowfeet (my favorite) Snowskates, Hockey skates, Buggies, Skateboards, Whatever you want to move with in funky wind conditions is well served with the Sting kites.
This is a kite that is fun for play, but is also a fantastic wind engine. You will not be disappointed with this kite.
