    Description

    RARE, Vintage Gilbey's Spey Royal Scotch Whisky Ceramic Bar Statue, measuring 12 1/2" in height, 9" in length and 5 1/2" in width.  I believe this piece to be created pre-1970, as that is when Gilbey's stopped distilling their Royal Scotch Whisky.  This unusual piece features a Scotsman in his plaid kilt, with a pistol tucked in his coat and a sword in his hand.  With his Highlander military hat and sporran at his waist, he is ready to march into battle.  His shield says "Spey Royal" and the base has two silver crossed swords, the words "Gilbey's Spey Royal" and "8 years old."  Very unusual, you won't find another like him!
