    Description

    Featured is a Vernon Kilns plate one in a series of the Bits of Old New England plates - "The Old Lighthouse" in a colorful seashore scene. Some images were taken to provide a visual idea as to the plate's size; yet the exact measurements are 8 5/8ths by 8 5/8ths inches. The piece has no chips, flea bite nicks, crazing nor any other sign of damage, including any prior repair. The plate has a nicely retained shiny glaze over the pottery. On the backside of the plate, there is some small brownish specks - paint under glaze, not flaw. For vintage, the Vernon Kilns lighthouse representation plate is in pristine condition, having preserved very well with age and prior use. The pictures are part of the description.
