I am selling a super Vernon Kilns collector plate!
This plate features the great city of Chicago, Illinois. There are lots of terrific scenic images on the front. Some of these include the Field Auditorium, The Adler Planetarium, and Buckingham Fountain.
This plate is made on the Ultra shape and glazed in blue. The plate measures about 10 1/2” in diameter.
The backstamp reads:
“CHICAGO
PLATE
MADE EXCLUSIVELY
for
Marshall Field & Company
by
VERNON KILNS
U.S.A.”.
Condition is excellent! There are a few faint untinsel scuffs on the front. No other sign of use or wear, and no damage at all.
