This listing is for a Set of Very Good to Excellent condition, pre-owned Hand-Painted VERNON KILNS Organdie Pattern Ceramic Salt & Pepper Shakers.
Organdie Pattern Hand-Painted on Montecito blanks.  Estimated circa 1940-50's.  Organdie Pattern was produced from 1937-1958.
Manufactured by VERNON KILNS in Vernon, California.  Vernon Kilns was in operation from 1931-1958, subsequently purchased by Metlox.
Hand-Painted details are very well-applied.  Colors are crisp and bright.
Pieces exbibit minimal signs of handling or wear, consistent with age and normal use.
No chips, cracks, crazing, or other known defects beyond those noted below.
May exhibit insignificant flea bites, brush marks, decorating, glazing, or mold blemishes.
Shakers are unmarked (not unusual or atypical).  Factory original corks are no longer present.
Shakers measure 2 1/2" diameter x 3" high.
