Up for auction is this stunning and rarely seen 2 quart pitcher and matching set of four mugs produced by Vernon Kilns in 1938.  These Gale Turnbull designed pieces in the Yellow Rose No.3 pattern (T-744) are in near mint condition with no chips, cracks or crazing that we can see.  Some factory speckling under the glaze inside the pitcher as seen in the photos.  Pitcher measures approximately 6 1/4" tall and 9 1/2" long from spout to handle.  Mugs stand 3 1/2" tall.  This is a fabulous set that would be tough to piece together and is both functional and beautiful to display.  Available for pick up should you live in the Los Angeles area.  Please view our photos carefully as they are part of the description.  Any reflections, white spots or irregular looking shading patterns in the photos (amplified when using the enlarge feature) are due to glare from outdoor light.  Please view our other auctions for more hard to find Vernon Kilns pieces.
