    Description

    Lunar orbit for your waist! A wonderful gorgeous brushed copper belt signed Renoir from the 1950s-early 1960s has a moon-like crater textured surface in keeping with the geometric look so favored by the company’s designers at the time.
    It is stamped Renoir & “S” indicating it was a “small” size. I’d say it fits an XS as well.
    The chain can be latched in a different position to make the belt smaller or you could alter the link closure to make it larger if needed. It tapers from 2” high in the back to 1” high in front.
    Fits waists 23”-25” best, as those sizes will allow the chain to hang down a bit as decoration. But it’ll still fit up to about 28”, but the chain will not hang at some point. Still very fashionable, nonetheless! It is in very good vintage condition. Please note: the copper chain link closure was on all of the original Renoir belts.
