Authentic and Stunning. A Genuine Vintage Balinese (Indonesian) Hand Carved Ebony (assumed wood type, not authenticated) Wood Barong Mask. Dramatic Wall Art for home or office. Excellent artistic merit. Fine detail in the old, traditional style of Balinese wood carving. Heavy and large. Weighs 3 pounds 7 ounces. Scarce find. Unsigned. True age, artist, and gallery are unknown. Condition: Good with some noted cracks from age and drying effect on the wood over time. The wood is now completely stablized, but some fractures are visible on both sides. One of the horns may have been slightly damaged at the tip. Not sure, but looks as though it might have had repair attempted by the artist, or maybe a previous owner. Not too serious. LEFT AS IS. STUDY ALL IMAGES.
