    Description

    Vernon Kilns Organdie pattern was their most popular pattern and inspired later plaids using a number of different color combinations.
    This oval serving platter was made using a later mold where the company changed the depth of the platter and raised the sides a little bit.
    It still exhibits the bright yellow/brown plaid combination that became so icon of the mid-century modern kitchen, and which can be seen in the background of many current TV shows and movies.
    These platters are durable and will last a lifetime. Each platter weighs close to 2 lbs.
