This is a 4-in-1 Build & Fly Kit. Makes 4 Tetrakites or 1 Super Tetrakite
This easy-to-assemble 16-sail kite is 5 1/2' on edge. It's a breeze to launch and keep aloft, and no tail is needed. The Tetrakite is made entirely from durable "space-age" plastics. Because of it's tremendous pull (Bell built and flew a 3093 sail version and lifted a man 60 ft off the ground) the use of 25 lb test cord is recommended.
This kit is complete with instructions, 43 connectors, 120 "branches", and 20 sails. (more than originally included: only 16 connectors, 96 branches, and 16 sails are needed for the Super Tetrakite assembly)
Condition: This has been used, but all pieces are included. This is a complete kit. The sails have all been trimmed in accordance with instructions (included), but the some of the tape used 50 years ago has dried, and some of the sails have slight cuts that will need taped. The box and instructions show water damage. The box is in bad shape. See pictures for more on condition. Selling as-is
